Thinking an all-inclusive resort isn't worth it because you don't drink? I hear this all the time, and I want to set the record straight.

The open bar is not the point. It never was.

What you're actually getting at a great all-inclusive is budget predictability, world-class dining, spa access, activities, and the kind of total relaxation that's hard to put a price on. And the zero-proof beverage programs at resorts like Sandals, Secrets, Palmaia, and Grand Velas have genuinely leveled up. These aren't sad Shirley Temples. These are crafted, intentional drink experiences.

This is honestly one of the most important decisions you will make when planning a destination wedding, and most couples do not think about it until it is too late... 👀💍

Here is why it matters so much:

If you go adults only:
✨ More resort options including luxury adults-only properties like Sandals
✨ A more elevated, romantic atmosphere
✨ Guests tend to let loose and celebrate more freely
✨ Easier to manage room blocks and group logistics

If you welcome kids:
🌴 Resorts like Beaches are incredible for families and have dedicated kids programs
🌴 No one has to leave their little ones at home which can increase your guest count
🌴 A more relaxed, family reunion type atmosphere
🌴 Great for couples who have nieces, nephews, or their own children they want there

Neither choice is wrong. But choosing the wrong resort for your vision absolutely is. An adults only couple accidentally booking a family resort or vice versa can completely change the feel of your wedding week!
