9/11 was a horrible day in our lives. 23 years ago and it's still as fresh in our hearts mourning the losses, including a dear family friend Vinny Danz. Today we honor the memory of all those we lost on September 11, 2001. May we never forget their stories – and the bravery of our first responders and troops who sacrificed so much.

Police Officer Vincent Danz died while attempting to rescue victims trapped during 9/11, the most devastating terrorist attack in history.
