Our group of young pilgrims had an unforgettable moment today — standing just feet away from the Holy Father as he passed through St. Peter’s Square in the popemobile!

To be in the heart of the Church, so close to the successor of Peter, surrounded by young people from around the world… there are no words. Just gratitude.

Today we remember Saint John Paul II
April 2, 2005 — The day the world lost a shepherd, and heaven gained a saint.

For our family and our ministry, this day holds deep meaning. Saint John Paul II was not only an inspiration but a personal part of our lives. His witness of faith, his courage in suffering, and his unwavering love for the Church shaped the mission of John Paul Pilgrimages and Tours from the very beginning.

We are honored to carry his legacy forward—guiding pilgrims to the sacred places that were dear to him, and helping others encounter Christ through the journey of faith.

Feast of Saint Benjamin, Deacon and Martyr

"I am the servant of Christ, and I speak His truth without fear." – Saint Benjamin

Today the Church remembers Saint Benjamin, a 5th-century deacon in Persia who refused to stop preaching the Gospel — even under threat of death. He was imprisoned, tortured, and ultimately martyred because he would not stay silent about Christ.

For our pilgrims preparing to walk in the footsteps of saints this year — in Poland, Ireland, Italy - Rome for the Jubilee — Saint Benjamin reminds us that the call to boldly witness our faith is not just for history books. It’s for us, today.

May his courage inspire us to live our faith without compromise and speak the truth with love, no matter the cost.
