We just wanted to thank you for arranging the awesome trip to Hawaii!!! It could NOT have been better. From the hotel in Waikiki to the VIP treatment on the cruise and of course to the ability to see many amazing and exotic places, it was fantastic. We were definitely in the “pinch me” realm as we were treated like royalty the entire time.
We loved the Grand Hawaiian and it was just the perfect spot for the beach and everything in Honolulu. That hotel had the perfect “old world” charm and was like we were celebrities in a movie. We appreciated the extra time there to see that part of Hawaii and to adjust to the time difference. In fact, next time (ha ha), we would do an extra day back in Honolulu just to decompress from the ship and go to the beach there again!
The Cruise exceeded our expectations and the crew was incredible. If you are booking for others, you can tell them that the NCL ship is clean and well kept. Our cabin was lovely and we had a huge and comfortable balcony. Loved it! The food is really good, particularly in specialty dining and in the dining room. The main areas are a little dated and circa 1990, but many other areas have been updated and it was certainly not a problem. We enjoyed the shows that we were able to go to and the entertainment onboard. The drinks were really good, and even though we are not big drinkers, we did imbibe more than usual, and loved what we had! We enjoyed all of our excursions. Other than one excursion (the “beach day” on Maui which was overpriced and misrepresented in the advertisements) the rest were on point and, in my opinion, the excursions on Kauai’i were the BEST. I would highly recommend the tour to the Waimea canyon, and highly recommend the Ga***rd train ride and luau on Kauai’i.
The flights were fantastic too, and now we are now spoiled to flying business class! On the flight from Honolulu to California, we even got the plane with the “lay down” seats!
Fortunately, or unfortunately, despite getting the updated vaccines, John ended up with Covid as we returned home. It didn’t hit until we returned so that’s a plus, and the rest of us are doing well, just missing Hawaii.

We will talk more as the trip to Antiqua approaches! Are we livin’ the life or what?
