Had a visit from a mola mola this morning

New tank is prepped and cured with 2 coats of corothane I. It’s a 1 part epoxy alternative to coal tar epoxy.

Tank is out. No foam anywhere around the tank which sure made this easier. Tank sits in 4 neoprene rubber strips, they came unglued overtime which allowed water to collect.

Capt Chino and I, his mate Jose. Epic morning on roosterfish. First class outfit! Chino fished here his whole life, commercial in 80’s and 90’s. He handed me a rod and said cast this popper as far as you can at your 2 o’clock. On the 3rd rip with the popper all I saw was a hole in the water. Ended up being the biggest of the day. Just awesome.
