A longtime friend recently reached out and asked me to help 16 members of his family book their very first cruise. I was incredibly appreciative, and honestly a little flattered that he trusted me to guide his family through such an exciting experience.

They came to me with high expectations, and I think we ultimately found a fantastic fit: Explora Journeys’ newest ship, Explora IV, sailing Northern Europe in 2027 with stops in Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, and the UK.

Getting everyone booked was quite the adventure in itself. The appropriate team for group bookings was overwhelmed with calls, and other agents weren’t able to assist. So it took some persistence to get everything across the finish line. But when you have 16 travelers counting on you, you don’t give up!

And apparently, we’re calling it Northern Europe now instead of the Baltic. 😉 Whatever we call it, it sounds like an incredible way to explore the region!

Did I forget to mention that the clients I’m working with are also including a stay in Dublin as a home base while touring parts of Ireland for their daughter’s graduation celebration trip? 🇮🇪

December 2022 on Ponant's Le Boreal. The moment we arrived, a pod surrounded the ship and started playing. Every time the captain tried to move on, they came back. So we stopped, again and again, and watched.
