Live After Five

Who's ready to party?! ๐ŸŽ‰ Live After Five is back in downtown Anchorage from May 28 to July 29, and we're talkin' a lineup of Alaska's hottest local musicians! ๐ŸŽถ Think I Like Robots, Hope Social Club, Black Barrel and the Bad Men, H3, and more! ๐Ÿคฉ Due to some construction drama in Town Square Park, we're movin' the free weekly concerts to F Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. But don't worry, we're still bringin' the goods: live tunes, local grub, a b**r garden, bike valet service, and a community vibe that's off the charts! ๐ŸŽ‰ See you there!

Sealaska Heritage Celebration โ€” June 3โ€“6, 2026
This summer brings a very special cultural event to Juneau: Celebration, hosted by the Sealaska Heritage Institute every two years. Running June 3โ€“6, it is the largest gathering of Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian Indigenous peoples in the world, featuring dance performances, a Native art market, an Indigenous fashion show, traditional food, and a juried art competition. If your trip overlaps with these dates, don't miss it. It is one of the great cultural events in Alaska.

Thanks for this amazing feedback !

Alethea just left a new 5-star review of alaskaactive.com:

Alaska Active helped me make my dreams become a reality. I booked a tour from Anchorage to Fairbanks via Talkeetna so that I could watch the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race which had been a dream of mine for 30 years. Andrea was absolutely amazing at organising everything. She took the stress out of my trip by booking everything for me, adding tours and extra nights accommodation. The communication before the trip was amazing with all my questions and concerns being answered. When I was making payments for the trip, Andrea let me know when all payments had been received (as I stressed about sending large amounts of money from Australia). I had the most amazing time and met some wonderful people. Being able to go to the Mushers Banquet, meet the mushers and see both the ceremonial and official starts of the Iditarod was a once in a lifetime experience. All the accommodations we stayed at were great especially the Swiss Alaska Inn in Talkeetna. Highly recommend Alaska Active Travel if you want to see Alaska, have the freedom to do your own thing but have everything booked for you.
