On or about this day in 1986, I became a licensed captain. Thanks to all of you for 40 great years of fishing, boats, waves, nights under the stars, drunks, jellyfish, blood stains, cut hands, breakdowns and breakups, three wives, three houses, several dogs, and most of all, a lifetime of memories that I wouldn’t trade for anything, all while doing a job I was so very lucky to do.
