Wow, where do I even begin?
Since I was young, I knew I wanted to travel to Africa. When this opportunity presented itself to me, I was filled with both excitement & apprehension. How could I take 2 weeks off of work? How could I leave my family and friends? How could I travel with strangers to a foreign country? Luckily, the support system around me encouraged me to take a leap of faith—and man, am I happy I did!

“Wow, where do I even begin?…



Since I was young, I knew I wanted to travel to Africa. When this opportunity presented itself to me, I was filled with both excitement & apprehension. How could I take 2 weeks off of work? How could I leave my family and friends? How could I travel with strangers to a foreign country? Luckily, the support system around me encouraged me to take a leap of faith—and man, am I happy I did.



This trip enabled me to disconnect from all the mundane day to day distractions, and instead, connect me to my core being. Through self-reflection, I found myself. I was able to distill my core values, be open to love, and truly cherish each and every day.



Simply put—this trip has made a lasting impression on my life. Not only did I find connection with the country, the friendly & beautiful inhabitants, the 18 strangers from different walks of life, but I found connection with myself.
