What are some great surfing sites on the Big Island of Hawaii?

There are many great surfing spots on the Big Island of Hawaii, but some of the most popular ones near Kona are:

Makaha Beach - located just north of Kona, this beach is known for its big waves and is a popular spot for experienced surfers.

Magic Sands Beach - located in Kona, this beach is a good spot for intermediate surfers and is known for its long, rolling waves.

Kahaluu Beach Park - located in Kona, this beach is a great spot for beginner surfers, as the waves are generally smaller and more forgiving.

Honoli'i Beach - located just outside of Hilo, this beach is known for its big waves and strong currents, and is best suited for experienced surfers.

Hapuna Beach - located on the west coast of the Big Island, this beach is known for its long, rolling waves and is a popular spot for intermediate and advanced surfers.
