Myth! 🦩🌊
Tilly and I have been thinking about sea days: the kind of day when your cruise ship is gliding across bright blue water and there’s nowhere you have to be just yet.
Boring? Not at all.
A sea day can begin quietly with coffee, a warm breeze, and a front-row seat to the sunrise. You might read by the pool, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, join a cooking class, listen to live music, try trivia, take a dance lesson, relax at the spa, or simply watch the waves roll by. Some travelers fill the day with activities, while others discover that doing absolutely nothing is exactly what they needed. ☕️✨
That’s one of my favorite things about cruising: the same day can feel restful, playful, social, or wonderfully unplanned. And sometimes, watching the ocean reminds us to slow down and be grateful for the journey itself.
Tilly’s ready for the pool deck, but she may need a little convincing to leave her sea-view spot! 😉
Would you choose a quiet sea-view morning or an activity-filled day onboard?
