đź’ˇ Big energy at UNC Charlotte! Nichole Page, EdS-Summers, and I presented at the Teacher 2 Teacher Conference on going Beyond the Prompt with AI to close the literacy gap.

But more than tools and strategies, here’s the truth: we can’t be knowledge hoarders. The best leaders are those who mentor, share, and pay it forward.

Every time we partner and pour into others, we don’t lose power—we multiply it.

Catch us again at the SAS EVAAS Summit on October 30!

Imposter syndrome can be sneaky. It doesn’t just look like being — it can look like:
đź’Ľ to prove yourself
🎯 Shrinking your wins so no one thinks you’re bragging
🚪 Saying no to opportunities out of fear of being “found out”

Been there. The ? You’ve always been enough. Which one of these shows up for you?

09/30/2025

Imposter syndrome doesn’t come out of nowhere. For many of us, it started in childhood — the pressure to be perfect, being told we were the “smart one,” or hearing that nothing we did was good enough. Fast-forward to adulthood, and those messages turn into doubt. Add systemic barriers and discrimination on top, and it becomes even harder to believe you belong.

đź’ Think about it: What early messages about success shaped YOU?

This isn’t my normal type of post, but let me be real for a moment. Lately I’ve been talking with friends about imposter syndrome — that feeling of being a fraud, even when you’re fully qualified. As a young, Black, female leader who used to be a perfectionist, I’ve faced this head-on. And I want to share what I’ve learned. Over the next 5 days, I’ll be posting about imposter syndrome and how we can walk through it and break through it.

💬 Drop a comment if you’ve ever dealt with it too.

Teachers, here’s a fresh idea:
> Sketch notes help students process information visually.
> Writing sharpens expression at every level—yes, even college.
> Coloring is therapeutic, calming the mind and making tough tasks feel manageable.

Put them together and you get:
✔️ More engaged learners
✔️ Notes that make sense to them
✔️ A calmer classroom environment

Sometimes the simplest tools bring the biggest transformations.
Would you try this with your students?

📊 Educators + Leaders — let’s talk data.

If you could only choose ONE data point to drive decision-making this year, which would it be — and why?

Would you lean on:
âś… Proficiency (where students are right now)
✅ Growth (how far and fast they’re moving)
…or something else entirely (attendance, SEL, engagement)?

Drop your thoughts in the comments ⬇️
Let’s push the conversation forward about how data really tells the story of student success.
