Emerging Winemakers Competition & Symposium

We are pleased to welcome back the Emerging Winemakers Competition & Symposium at Yavapai College.

The 2026 Emerging Winemakers Competition & Symposium will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

For those who have not yet attended, this exceptional event features educational seminars, an awards ceremony, and an engaging roundtable discussion with speakers, judges, and competitors.

Guests attending in person will also enjoy lunch accompanied by a glass of student-crafted wine from the Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College.

Wines submitted by emerging winemakers are evaluated by a panel of independent wine industry professionals. Each entrant receives written, confidential feedback on their submitted wine(s) — a valuable opportunity to gain constructive, unbiased insight from experienced judges.

The deadline for wine entry submissions is April 7, 2026.
