Photo of the Manzanita Ranger Station near Roaring Springs. Flood debris on the porch and mud splashes are seen on the windows and walls. This formerly was referred to as the Aiken's home. Bruce Aiken and his family lived until 2005, growing up in the Canyon. The nearby helipad was washed away. This is where the Aiken's children would enjoy sleeping out on at times to watch the stars. Many hikers remember drinking from the children's lemonade stand at this place.
