If you’re planning on coming out Memorial Day Weekend, I would NOT wait much longer to book. Cabins and cabanas are filling up fast and every year we typically sell out.

I woke up this morning honestly kinda bummed because the forecast said it was gonna be cloudy all day… but man was I wrong. 😅

It actually turned into a BEAUTIFUL day out on the San Marcos River. The weather was perfect, the water felt amazing, and we had a ton of awesome people come out this weekend. Lots of smiles, lots of laughs, and just good vibes all around. ☀️🌊

There’s just something special about floating a Texas river with your friends and family. If you’ve never been tubing or kayaking before, I highly recommend coming out to Son’s River Ranch and giving it a try. It’s simple, relaxing, fun, and honestly one of the best ways to spend a day outdoors in Texas.

Good morning. It is Saturday, April 25, 2026 and this is the San Marcos River update. The San Marcos River was extremely blessed this past week. We got just the right amount of rain in all the areas that really needed it. It was a steady, soaking rain—not too much, too fast—which brought the river levels up and now they’re flowing perfect for tubing and kayaking.
�The river had started to get a little low, but now it’s running great again. Visibility is slightly green from the recent rain, but that should clear up over the next few days.

It’s starting to feel like summer out here. The trees have turned a deep green, everything looks alive, and it’s absolutely beautiful. And after a stretch of rainy weekend weather, it’s nice to finally have a sunny weekend to get outside and enjoy the river.
