LCL got another smoker/grill for renters and us to use. We already had 4 different grills in the past but it didn't last being under the rain and heat. The 2 old ones still usable specially the one closer to the house since the side burner gas grill is still working. The one by the water is really rusty and have holes underneath where it catches the charcoal.

On the side note. We have missing leaf blower that we use to blow leaves and debris on the back patio. Either the renters or the cleaners took/stole it. There is no way of knowing who stole since we cannot keep tract after the renters left as we only ask the cleaners to clean up after each renters. Being 3 hours away from our house it's hard to make a quick trip to check everything after the renters had checked out when there is back to back renters. We had been missing stuffs over the years the downside of owning a short term rentals. Some people lost moral values these days, stealing is a sin but they don't care.

One of the big tree died from the drought last summer so we cut it down. We placed the cut wood around the firepit and now there are plenty of tree stool to sit on while making s'mores.

The water is still low at Lake Placid/Guadalupe River but you can still have fun in the water. Kayaking is still accessible and two kayaks are free to use when you rent the house. Updates on LCL and water level in Lake Placid/Guadalupe river. The water is super low due to the flooding last week. They opened the spill gate to reduce the water to prevent from heavy flooding but unfortunately the spill gate were not able to close it back due the a big log that was stuck on the spill gate. They are continuing to work on it and might take awhile to fix it and get the water back to normal level. Sad to see it lots of boats stuck on the boat lift including ours.
