You can now stream “Almost Ghosts” on AMAZON!

For the last few years, we have been telling everyone how the documentary "Almost Ghosts" is so great and that everyone should watch it. But unfortunately, after receiving many awards and accolades during the film festival circuit, the film was unable to be seen by the general public. But now it is finally available!

Written and directed by Ana Ramon Rubio, this Spanish made documentary features three men who have made their mark on Route 66. Each man’s story is unique and the documentary allows each man to tell his experience in his own words. And of course, our favorite Route 66 barber is one of them.

In the director’s own words: “It’s not really a documentary about Route 66, it’s a documentary about people, about those who managed to save their cities from the most absolute death, and also about those who couldn’t.”

In a few days, HISTORIC Route 66 will be celebrating its 35th birthday!
35 years ago on November 20, 1987, Angel’s grassroots organization was successful in getting the State of Arizona to bring the decommissioned Route 66 back as a historic highway. This was the first historic designation for Route 66 in the entire country. This was the triumph that started a Historic Route 66 fever throughout the seven other former Route 66 states. We are very proud that it all started here in Arizona because of our favorite small-town barber in Seligman. Thank you to our very own Angel Delgadillo and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HISTORIC ROUTE 66!
