Let’s start here… because this matters.

The CITI Center is for EVERYONE.

Not one group.
Not one neighborhood.
Not one type of program.

If you live here, work here, build here, or believe in Selma’s future… this space was designed with you in mind.

We’re creating something rooted in collaboration, growth, and shared opportunity... and it only works if we build it together.

Did you know that the CITI Center is not just a small business incubator?

Yes, we support entrepreneurs—but that’s only one part of the work.

Once fully activated, the CITI Center will focus on three flagship areas:

🏠 Housing Mobility – helping people access, stabilize, and move toward ownership
🏪 Small Business & Entrepreneurship – supporting local businesses to start, grow, and thrive
🎤 Storytelling & Narrative Change – elevating Selma’s full story, inclusive of and moving beyond the bridge

And just as important…

This is not about one side of town.
This is not about Black or white.

This is about moving Selma forward—based on the voices of over 4,000 residents who told us what matters most.

This is bigger than a single initiative.
This is about partnership, not performative programs.
This is about building an ecosystem that works for all of us.
