We wanted to give a special shout out to all of friends with eyes on fb who tag us posts for scrap metal. You’re help keeping us up and running. Good to know we have some good quality people in our circle.

We recently had someone question our scrap business and our “ethics “ and so as I usually am I am going to be posting our practices once more in hopes that our friend Ryan can comprehend what we do instead of posting offhanded comments to our page.

We are a mom and dad who scrap on our off time (we both work full time) to provide some extra money for our family/kids needs. Scrapping metal does not bring in huge amounts of money and is a lot of work and expense for us.

This is why we schedule pick ups. So we can help you get your items in an organized manner also to accommodate our full time schedule. If you message us with your scrap is already at the road, chances are we will not be coming. There are many other scrappers who will probably pick it up before us and we’ve experienced this several times first hand.

Removal fee, we only charge a small fee if there is an item that needs to be removed from the home. $25 per item is our fee and something we feel is reasonable.

Deep extraction fee, there have been pick ups where items have been left in yards for a few years. Usually if it’s easily accessible we do not charge, however if there is extra work like digging out of the dirt or removal of weeds etc we will assess the situation, speak to the owner and send them a quote on what we feel is reasonable for additional labor.

This is why when you message our page directly, we tell you upfront and ask questions as well.

We thank you and appreciate those who have worked with us and continue to do so! We the happy scrappers definitely have some happy customers. So we think we’re definitely doing something right
