Mary Church Terrell, a 2020 Hall inductee, was one of the first Black women to earn a college degree—and she spent her life fighting for racial and gender justice.

We’re proud to honor her legacy with a new exhibit opening July 31 at the Hall, Mary Church Terrell and The Traveling Griots: Exemplars of Black Womanhood.

This immersive installation brings Terrell and her contemporaries to life through life-size dolls in period attire—evoking the West African griot tradition of storytelling and cultural memory.

🎶Join us this Thursday, July 10th at the Seneca Falls Community Center for a performance by Restless from 6 to 8 p.m. as part of the Music in the Park Concert Series! Weather permitting, bring a lawn chair and enjoy free live music along the canal! If it rains, the concert will be held inside the Community Center. Food will be brought to you by Mark's Pizzeria. Arrive to the concert in style with a boat ride to and from the show with Stivers Marina! Before and after the concert participate in the Summer Thursdays passport program! Pick up your passport at 106 Fall Street or look for the Summer Thursday sign at participating locations! Grab a new passport each week then visit two businesses on the list and submit your completed passport at Music in the Park or at 106 Fall Street. Submitted passports will be entered in a drawing at the end of the month and a larger drawing at the end of the concert series to win a gift basket! Please visit participating locations, the tourism center at 106 Fall Street, or talk to a Museum representative at Music in the Park for more information! Mural Project Update! There is going to be 2-large scale murals installed in downtown Seneca Falls! The Seneca Falls Museum & Tourism Center is site number two!

Mural theme will highlight the Seneca-Cayuga Canalway and the significant role it has played for the Town of Seneca Falls!

The Bonafiglia Family Foundation is now seeking qualified artists to install a mural on the Canalside of this building!
