Who's making the trip this year?

10/22/2026

You've booked the view. You've booked the space. But here's what most guests don't realize comes with the stay.

Mountain Sky Cabin is packed with little extras that turn a good trip into an unforgettable one. Game nights on the pool table. Arcade battles that get a little too competitive. Sunset soaks in the private hot tub. Movie nights under the stars by the outdoor fireplace. And when the sky clears, a telescope waiting on the deck for you to find it.

These aren't add-ons. They're already yours the moment you book.

Ready to see it all in person? Book direct at mountainskycabin.com for the best rate guaranteed.

POV: you just checked into the dreamiest cabin in the Smoky Mountains.

Coffee on the deck while the mountains wake up. Everyone piles in the car for a day at Dollywood or wandering around Pigeon Forge. Then back to the cabin as it gets dark, gathered around the fire pit, no phones, just each other.

This is what the trip is actually about. Not the itinerary, the people you're sharing it with.

You, me, and fall in the Smoky Mountains?

There's a version of autumn that only happens up here. Fog lifting off the ridgeline, color creeping across the peaks, and a cup of coffee that tastes better when the view looks like this.

Mountain Sky Cabin puts you right in the middle of it, with a wraparound deck made for mornings like these. Best rates are always guaranteed when you book direct at mountainskycabin.com. No third-party fees, just more trip for your money.

Who are you bringing this fall?

10/07/2026

October in the Smokies might be the best month to book. Fall colors are peaking, the air finally has that crisp bite, and there is genuinely something happening almost every day between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville.

Here is what is going on nearby this month, swipe through for the highlights.

Dollywood's Harvest Festival runs all month with Great Pumpkin LumiNights lighting up the park after dark. The Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair fills the convention center October 8 through 28 with over 200 booths. If you are chasing foliage, Wears Valley Fall Fest on October 16 through 18 puts you right in the middle of one of the most scenic corridors in the region.

For the trick or treat crowd, Sevierville's History and Haunts is October 22 downtown with costume contests and fireworks, and Halloween night itself brings trick or treating at The Island and the Sheriff's Halloween Spooktacular in historic downtown Sevierville.

Come back to Mountain Sky Cabin at the end of it all, get the fire pit going, and let the kids battle it out on the arcade before bed. This is what a Smoky Mountain fall trip should feel like.

Best rates are always guaranteed when you book direct at mountainskycabin.com. What's on your October bucket list this year?

Fall in the Smokies hits different, and we made a map of exactly where to see it. Newfound Gap Road for the sweeping ridgeline views, Cades Cove Loop for golden hour and maybe some wildlife, Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail for that tunnel-of-color feeling, and Little River Road for water and leaves in one shot. Drive the loop, chase the color, then come home to the best view of all: right off the deck at Mountain Sky Cabin.

Sleeps up to 12, so bring the whole crew for leaf season. Book direct at mountainskycabin.com for guaranteed best rates and zero third-party fees.

Fall is coming to the Smokies, and the view from Mountain Sky Cabin's wraparound deck is about to get even better.

We keep a telescope on the deck for a reason. Grab your coffee, pull it into focus, and start spotting the color rolling in across the ridgelines.

Here are the trees to watch for this season, starting with the early changers in mid-September all the way through the sugar maples hitting their peak in late October.

No hiking required. Just a front-row seat to one of the best shows in the country.

Ready to see it for yourself? Book direct at mountainskycabin.com for our guaranteed best rates and no third-party fees.
