Synchronous Fireflies are coming back to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park

The fireflies will light up the mountains in perfect unison

Viewing dates: May 28 – June 4, 2026

Location: Elkmont Historic District, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee

Application fee: $1 (non‑refundable)

Reservation fee (if selected): $29 per vehicle (up to 7 people)
Odds: Extremely competitive (~5% or less)

Notifications: By mid‑May 2026
