What a blessing of a week in Jamaica! 🇯🇲❤️
We just wrapped up our 2nd Annual Dan the Sandman Group Trip, and what an incredible experience it was! We had 9 amazing people join us this year, and we spent the week at Sandals Dunn’s River.
I’d been before, but it was the first visit for everyone else in our group—and Sandals absolutely knocked it out of the park.
The hospitality was second to none. Every employee we met went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
One of the most humbling parts of the trip was being recognized so many times by the resort staff. Even a few guests staying at the resort came up, introduced themselves, asked to take photos with me, and told me they follow my content. That honestly meant more than I can put into words. I truly love what I do, and I never imagined I’d be recognized for simply sharing my passion for travel. It made me feel incredibly grateful, and I’ll never forget those moments. ❤️
The food was outstanding! We enjoyed steak, lobster, authentic Caribbean dishes, birria tacos, pizza, Italian, Asian, Greek, and so much more. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and many of the ingredients were locally sourced right here in Jamaica. Honestly, I couldn’t even pick a favorite!
As for activities, we stayed busy all week. We snorkeled, spent countless hours relaxing by the pool and on the beach, and had an absolute blast playing pool volleyball—with plenty of drink breaks in between! 🍹😎 There was never a dull moment.
The evenings were just as memorable. We spent most nights hanging out with Liandre at the Rum Club, while Lapidus Lounge was always packed with great live music, saxophone performances, and incredible entertainment. Huge shoutout to Devon for helping make every night special!
Overall, it was an unforgettable week filled with laughs, memories, and new friendships. The best part? Most of our group has already rebooked for next year’s trip, and we’re expecting around 12 couples to join us!
