I think everyone can agree that COVID19 situation has disrupted many things, and it has created an uncertain time right now for most everyone. I wanted to take this opportunity to check in with you to see how things are going with you and your family. I hope all is well.

As you are aware, we must all do our part in efforts to stop the spread of the COVID19 virus. We all must abide by the CDC and our state’s guidelines during this time. It’s a challenge, but I know it will not last forever.
Most states have issued a “Stay at Home Order”, so I know that your property is not booked as it normally would be at this time. While I realize that a loss of rents could create a financial hardship, I feel that your property just sitting empty can create issues of their own. As a result, I want you to know that I am still offering my full inspections as I always have; however, during this time, I am offering a modified exterior and interior inspection at a reduced cost. If you would like me to perform a brief exterior inspection and interior walk-through, I would be happy to do so. We have had a lot of rain lately, so it would be a good idea to have your property inspected for roof leaks and any interior water damage. During my modified inspection, I would inspect the exterior of your cabin. In addition, I would inspect the interior of your cabin for things such as leaks underneath all of the cabinets, the thermostat to ensure that it is set at the proper setting, the water level and proper function of the hot tub, and I would make sure that all the lights and fans have been turned off while the property is not in use. If there is any specific items you would like me to check, just let me know. I would be happy to do it for you. As always, I will provide you with my thorough inspection report including photos.

Unfortunately, vacant cabins invite vandalism opportunities. If people see cabins sitting empty with no one coming by to check on them, especially when times are tough, cabin owners will find themselves victim to destruction and theft. I am hopeful that this service will give you the peace of mind that you deserve while you are unable to visit your cabin in the Smokies!

As always, I appreciate the opportunity to be of service. In these unusual and trying times, I am reaching out to you for more than just business. I want to be sure that you and your family are safe and well. Please let me know how you all are doing, and if I can help in some way, please just let me know. I would be happy to do so.

Thanks, and have a great day!

Thank you,
Louise Malone

Let me tell you a story about two young entrepreneurs and how they decided to join forces and become Dave and Busters. Back in the 70s, Buster had a restaurant with friendly service and really good food. Dave had opened an entertainment place for adults to have fun a few doors down from Busters. Over time, they noticed that their customers switched between their two establishments. Being as they were both smart young men with an eye for business, they thought of putting both under one roof! Imagine that! After finding a 40,000 square-foot empty warehouse in Dallas, Texas, they began construction on the new venture and opened the very first Dave and Busters in December, 1982. Now, today they have over 110 locations. Sounds like it’s going to be a perfect end to your day.
Each of the stores have more interesting and state of the art games than you can play in one night. There is a Million Dollar Midway with over 200 of the most fun and exclusive arcade games, or you may be in the mood for some of your old favorite and classic video games.

This sounds like fun.
