Pacific Heights Lodging Response to COVID-19
In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic we continue to take the necessary precautions in order to keep our suites, guests, and employees safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. We take pride in our reputation from repeated guests stating how ‘immaculate’ and clean our condos are. We will continue with the
established disinfecting and cleaning procedures of all areas of each suite in between check-out and check-in. We want to share with our guests exactly how we clean and then disinfect our condos in between guests.
Air:
• Each condo has its own Heating, Ventilation and Air Circulation system (HVAC) which is separate and independent from all other suites within the Lodge. This system purifies the air as it circulates through the condo. Every condo has a wall panel to control how high or low the HVAC system runs.
Kitchen:
• All dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and various utensils are sanitized in the dishwasher utilizing high heat to dry them
• All small and large appliances are cleaned and then disinfected with the PURE Solution
• All countertops are cleaned and then disinfected with the PURE Solution
• Kitchen table and chairs are cleaned and then disinfected with the PURE Solution
Bathroom:
• Shower/tub combo is thoroughly cleaned with a safe bleaching agent
• Toilet is bowl is cleaned with Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner
• Remainder of all toilet areas are cleaned then disinfected with product proven to kill 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses
• Bathroom counter/sink area is cleaned and then disinfected with the PURE Solution
Living Room:
• The TV console/stand, coffee table, end table(s), DVD player, and remote controls are all wiped down with disinfectant cleaner
• All throw blankets are washed in a private commercial grade washer with sufficient detergent and hot water. They are then dried on high heat in a private commercial dryer.
• Each couch and/or chair is sprayed down with PURE Solution
Bedrooms:
• All nightstands, lamps, baskets, luggage racks and/or benches are cleaned with PURE disinfectant
• ALL bedding, including sheets, pillow cases, and duvet covers are washed in a private commercial grade washer with sufficient detergent and hot water
• ALL bedding is dried on high heat in a private commercial grade dryer
Floors:
• All floors are first thoroughly vacuumed then mopped with proper disinfectant
**NEWLY ADDED Protocols:
*Installation of SafeHandles to all the door handles inside and outside of our building.
FACT: Each handle is embedded with an EPA approved antimicrobial active agent that continuously interacts with and deactivates germs which are deposited on the handle by touch. These handles have been laboratory tested to help prevent the spread of germs, bacteria, and viruses. SafeHandles are EPA approved and do not cause any type of skin allergies. Each handle is good for 6 months or 10,000 touches, whichever comes first.
*Implementation of the use of PURE (referenced above) Hard Surface Disinfectant Solution
FACT: This solution is an Antibacterial, Antifungal, and Antiviral solution that has been EPA registered and FDA approved. This solution not only kills bacteria, viruses, and fungus anywhere from within 30 seconds to 2 minutes but with a residual of 24 hours. This solution has been proven to kill the Coronavirus within 30 seconds and lasts up to 24 hours. No other product has proven to have this type of residual protection.
Q: How do SafeHandles and PURE Solution work?
A: They both use an active agent called Antimicrobial Silver-Ion technology. Silver naturally carries a positive charge and bacteria naturally carries a negative charge so they are attracted to each other. Silver breaks the wall of the bacteria’s cell and binds to the DNA preventing cell-reproduction & inhibits the cell’s respiratory function which causes the bacteria to burst or die.
