After a phenomenally successful summer season, in which several friends and family members stayed as guests on the house, it appears that we are now fully booked for the winter season as well. Thanks to all who make the Summit View Lodge a great place to spend time in Seward.and to those who stay there.

We are sold out for the rest of the summer, with only one vacancy since late May. Bookings have already started for summer 2022, so if you are thinking of an Alaska vacation next year, be sure to plan ahead, including flights and rental cars.

As thanks to three off season tenants who have stayed at the Summit View through COVID times, they will be staying through May 2022, and so suite 1 is the only one available for 2021 nightly summer rentals. Suite is starting to fill up, but many good nights remain. It appears that summer 2021 will be much busier than 2020, so don't wait to plan your summer Alaska vacation.

As everyone knows, it's going to be a quiet summer in Alaska. Many folks from outside Alaska will not be able to visit, unless they have enough time to endure the current 14 day quarantine. If you are able to visit Seward, whether from Alaska or outside, Seward will be an outstanding 2020 vacation destination. You will be able to go on wildlife cruises, kayaking, sport fishing, enjoy delicious Alaska seafood and beers, and do all this in an uncrowded atmosphere. And there will be plenty of accommodations available for you. If the Summit View Lodge fits your needs, please let us know.
