We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our clients we have had the pleasure to take fishing this year. Taking the time to write reviews is one of the most influential ways to help keep our small business thriving. We appreciate them more than most can understand, especially in a year where the economy looks a lot different. Very thankful! 🎣 🙏

Fall fishing is picking up red hot 🚨 and will continue to be good through the remainder of the year! We will be allowed to keep all species of Snapper through January 4th and Red Groupers will remain open too in the Gulf. Of course our Speckled Trout and Redfish in the bay, and most definitely don’t forget the reopening of Flounder season on December 1. These next few months are going to be AMAZING fishing 🎣 🤩

Blessed 😇 to have the opportunity to take our boys and their friend out yesterday afternoon after dropping the boat back in the water post storm.

All three boys caught their personal best Speckled Trout 🏆 and put over ten fish in the boat on artificial lures. We released more fish than we kept and knocked off Speckled Trout, Redfish and Gag Grouper off the catch list.

Harbor put the first Redfish in the boat on artificial. Not bad for a 7 year old! 💪 Mattox caught and released his personal best Speckled Trout coming in at a FAT 24.5 inches. 🤩 Their friend Luke, who had never caught a Speckled Trout before yesterday, wasted no time in finding the one we were looking for and put a fine one in the boat right at 27 inches. 😳 It broke into 1st place overall in the Destin Fishing Rodeo and also won daily largest! 🤩. Before we could make it back to the dock last night I heard all three talking amongst themselves say that magic line…”That was by far the best fishing trip I’ve ever been on” ❤️

Coaching and taking kids fishing for over twenty years has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I’m forever grateful that God has blessed us beyond measure. I wish I could do it for another 100 years!

I have trips booked Thursday-Saturday mornings but have a few afternoons available and several days open at the moment for next week. Y’all come get in on the fun with us!

Playing Catch Charters has a camping spot available on our property for anyone who may need a place to stay. It’s free for our clients with a charter booked, and also available to anyone whose rental has been canceled or who is without power and would like to come down and book a charter with us.

The site has power, water, and sewage hookups, and is about a 40 minute drive from Destin/Fort Walton Beach.

We have some minor cleanup to do post storm but are so thankful that our immediate area did not have any extensive or severe damage. Please everyone continue to pray for those that did have bad damage especially our neighbors to the West in the Navarre, Pensacola and Milton areas.

Power has been restored for many since yesterday and is looking promising for today as well.

We are looking forward to getting back on the water this week and putting our clients on fish and making anglers famous at the Destin Fishing Rodeo!

Had an awesome time in the Gulf with my Tennessee crew a couple of days back. Red was the color of the day and there were lots of it! 🤩Caught some pretty Red Snappers and Mingo Snappers and released some Grouper and Triggerfish. 😃 Thanks Tiffany and crew for being such a fun group! Looking forward to having y’all down next time!
