I LOVE getting pictures from my clients after they return from their travels! Scott and Melissa joined another couple and several other folks from around the globe to tour Morocco with . Though they loved their whole trip, a few things stood out:
1. Their tour guide, Mohammed, made their trip outstanding through his local insight and attention to service. I was lucky enough to also work with Mohammed on my trip to Morocco... and believe me... I would have not experienced such a deep and personal understanding of the Moroccan people without his passion for sharing his country and culture. He also went above and beyond helping us with any little thing we could have needed. We were spoiled!
2. They loved their small group of 12 travelers. These tours never have more than 16 people, and the average is 12. They had fellow-travelers with them from China, NZ, the UK and more! They now have new friends and an even more enriching experience.
3. The SAHARA! As was the same for me, this was a highlight for them. It's indescribably magical.

Morocco is absolutely a 10/10 experience for me. It can be a little tricky to get to the more off-the beaten path areas, but I have excellent suggestions for every travel style to help make your trip safe, easy, and life-changing experience! Ready to experience this destination or try small-group travel basically anywhere in the globe? I'm ready to help!

LET’S GET PERSONAL.

I love a challenge.

However, 2020–2024 brought a myriad of challenges I didn’t ask for and had little to no control over…

In 2020 I had built my travel advisor business into a full-time job only to have it all come crashing down due to the pandemic.
I worked hard for my clients during the crisis, and I have re-built my business to come back better than ever.

In 2020, I also became sick with a tick-borne illness that caused a neurological auto-immune disease and post-viral syndrome. I was mostly bed-ridden from July 2020- April 2021. Though I still deal with some chronic issues, I now lead a very normal day to day life.

2022-2024 revealed choices my then-husband was making that damaged our relationship beyond repair. Divorce certainly wasn’t in my life-plan, but here is yet another challenge my kids and I are overcoming, and we’re happier and healthier.

I found myself wanting to do something hard *I* chose. I wanted a challenge on my own terms. I chose to celebrate turning 40 later this year by completing a physical and mental challenge… hiking the Inca Trail.

This past week, I (along with 5 other hikers) trekked 26 miles over four days, reaching altitudes up to 13,800 ft. Challenge completed!!! We made it to Machu Picchu just as the clouds were lifting.

Remember: You are stronger than you think and are capable of doing all the hard things… both planned and unplanned.

Travel is healing. Now on to celebration!

Wow! Costa Rica exceeded all my expectations in terms of natural beauty, delicious food, fun activities, and relaxation. Our hosts with kept us busy from sun up to past sun down touring properties and experiencing all that this destination has to offer. Now that I’m home, semi-caught up on assisting clients, and have gotten a few naps in, I’ll be sharing more about my time there. P.S. Can you see the volcano in the background? She was being shy.

Many accommodations near the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica feature natural hot springs heated by lava. The water is very clean, and has natural minerals. Perfect for soaking tired muscles after a day of hiking, zip lining, or rafting!
