Our morning trip yesterday consisted of lots of bites but they just didn’t want to stay on the hook.
We still managed a nice box of fish and happy customers. Not to mention a big brown trout.
When I was asked how big it was just looking at it, I guessed about 16lbs.
The Bubba scale showed 20.2lbs and the DNR scale at the cleaning station had 19.6lbs.
That would make a personal best for me. My last biggest brown was 18lb that stood for over 20 years.

Back at it again tomorrow morning!

Basil is a Vietnam vet who was a tank gunner. He’s 77 years old and hauled in 15-20lb kings last night like a 20 year old!
