Hello, my name is Brianna Ashmore. I recently gave Birth to Kade Allen Ashmore on Friday October 13th, 2023. Leading up to Kades birth, at 20 weeks he was diagnosed with a series of 3 congenital heart defects. We knew once he was born he would have to have open heart surgery to correct those defects and that would require a little bit of a hospital stay. Due to unforeseen complications I ended up having to move down to Cincinnati almost a month before Kade was born, so that I was close to Cincinnati Childrens for monitoring of Kade. Once Kade was born, at 10 days old he underwent a 16 hour open heart procedure where they found more issues and damage than originally planned. We are now past 5 weeks post op and Kade is still in the hospital and expected to be here until end of December or beginning of January due to a severe chest infection he encountered. The money would go towards expenses of living and food and gas for me to travel back and forth due to having 2 other kids back home. Due to Kades medical issues before and after birth, I have been unable to work for the past 2 months and won’t be able to go back to work until we are able to go home. Unfortunately life has not paused during this time and I am having to still pay bills and rent for our house back home so that we have a place to come back to once released. We want to thank anyone who is willing to help in our time of need and hope that in the future we will be able to do the same for someone else in need. This has been a very hard time for not only Kade and myself but for his brother and sister at home who’ve only got to see him twice since birth. As we are getting close to the holidays things are getting much harder with the thought that we will not all get to be together. Again thank you to anyone who is able to help us.
