Put in: Highway 82 Bridge (no physical address) - Follow Kingree Rd and it will turn into Highway 82 S at the bridge. There will be signage at the entrance just before the bridge

Take out: River Bottom Park - 390 S Main St

Be sure you have ALL the items below:
-Kayak, canoe, john boat, etc. NO MOTORIZED WATERCRAFT
-ONE paddle per boat
-MUST wear lifejacket

Ribbon Cutting Celebration at Dutch Bros Coffee! 

We had the pleasure of officially welcoming Dutch Bros Coffee to Shelbyville with a ribbon cutting ceremony at their brand-new location: 103 Collier Ave, Shelbyville, TN!

UPDATE: The date for the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration of the SBCP Library being at our current location has been CHANGED to Saturday, July 26th from 10am-3pm due to the busy summer season! We want to make sure the celebration is properly prepared so everyone can have the best time possible!

In preparation for our new Race the Duck event, our staff took to the water to check out the route! 🦆

Details on the event below:
-Saturday, July 19th - race time 10am
-Put In: Hwy 82 Bridge / Take Out: River Bottom Park (food trucks, music, prizes at take out)
-Must wear a lifejacket
-One paddle per boat
-Bring your own kayak, canoe, etc.
-Ages 12 and up can paddle without someone
-Ages 11 and under must ride with an adult

The Spring Fun Show, scheduled for May 22-24, 2025 is now accepting entries online. Entries can be made online at entermywalkinghorse.com Entries will be accepted online each day of the show until 1:00 pm. The show office will be open daily between 3:00 pm-5:00 pm, for those who wish to make entries in person.
