One of the best traditions!

Happy 4th of July!!! We would like to inform everyone that the Town of Taylor will be doing their annual firing of the anvil on Saturday morning starting at 5am!!! This will go on throughout the morning in various locations in Taylor. Please be prepared for the noise. Contain your animals that may be scared away due to the explosion. We want everyone to have a great weekend and hope everyone stays safe!! Remember, EYES UP PHONES DOWN, buckle up and drive safe!! Have a great time!!

A different type of destination. Check out more about Pontiac Heaven.

The Maricopa, Az location of the Pontiac Heaven yard was purchased as bare property in 1995. By 1996, I had the property rezoned and industrial use permits in place to allow for unlimited storage and restoration of cars. Then, it was time to clear the land and put up fencing and then buy Pontiacs. Within 10 years, had purchased hundreds and hundreds of vintage Pontiacs, most saved from a fate with the crusher. In other words, none, or few, of these Pontiacs would be around today if it was not for my commitment to saving as many as I could. The Maricopa location is now a secondary location and the St Johns acreage, purchased in 2005, is the new home for Pontiac Heaven and the location for the museum. www.pontiacheaven.org

Hi folks, here's a little preview for this week's storm system. Time to get ready.

930am: GOES satellite Water V***r image shows a Pacific Low moving into California. This system will be the first in a series of winter storms for the high country this week. Expect high elevation snowfall across northern on Monday. Snow amount details for this first system will be released later this afternoon. Stay Tuned.
