Join Sarasota County Government for a fun and educational World Ocean Day celebration at North Jetty Beach (100 Casey Key Road, Nokomis, FL).

Kick off the morning with a beach clean‑up at 8:00 a.m. Then enjoy the Learning Village booths and hourly educational lectures beginning at 8:30 a.m., followed by kayak tours starting at 9:00 a.m. Explore vendors, enjoy food trucks, and take part in games and activities.

A great opportunity to give back, learn, and enjoy a day by the water while helping keep our coastline clean and healthy! 🌎💙

After more than 20 years at the Stickney Point “Boatyard” near the south Siesta Key bridge, Siesta Key Watersports is relocating operations beginning May 15, 2026.

The team says they remain committed to connecting families to Sarasota’s waterways through dolphin tours, parasailing, eco experiences, and marine education and they’re encouraging the community to continue supporting their local crew during this transition.
