People often ask, âWhatâs your favorite place youâve visited?â To be honest, I hate the question? Itâs like asking someone, âWhat is your toe?â Itâs so broad. Favorite destination for food, for music, for beaches, for skiiing? Every place in the world has pros & cons so asking for a hands down favorite is impossible. However, when I am asked, and realize I wonât be let off without an answer, Corisca is always at the forefront of my mind. Maybe itâs the lush rugged coastline (pictured) or the friendly people, the savory foods, the delicious winesâŚor maybe itâs the fact that my ancestry hails from this gorgeous French island or perhaps I was just visiting there at a time in my life when I was truly open to experience the culture and beauty the country had to offer. Again, itâs not my favorite place everâŚI donât have one of thoseâŚbut itâs high on the list.
