I wanted to let all our concerned participants to know that we and the dogs are all doing well. The fires in the area are a good bit a way from us so we should not be affected. I appreciate all the folks who have reached out to make sure we are ok.

They have started to make some progress on the fires and so we are hopeful that will continue.

Looking ahead I thought I would put out the idea of fall training trips. We train the dogs all fall on ATVs and if there is interest I could put together a come up and try your hand at it. It could help out the town to replace some of the losses from the fires.

Let me know and its not too early to practice your snow dance.

We have gotten 24 inches of snow in the past week. Our trails are in great shape and will be so through March. March is the best month to come on a trip and we have some great availability.

We have 4 trips a day or shorter. Either solo sled or tandem sled day trips, 1/2 day trips, and the ever popular 3/4 day trips which are a 1/2 day trip with lunch on the trail. With the great snow we have and warmer weather coming March is a great time to experience on of these.

12 dogs are running the John Beargrease Marathon Sunday,a 300 mile race. Here they are getting inspected by veterinarians to make sure they are healthy for the race.
