Redwood Llamas, located in the historic mining town of Silverton, Colorado, operate

s in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado under a permit of the San Juan National Forest. July and August are springtime in the Rockies, blanketed with wildflowers of vibrant colors. September brings on fall when the Aspens turn a vivid gold color, a short but incredible season. For those with experience, llamas can be leased to enhance your enjoyment of the mountains. They do the heavy-lifting while you experience the wonders of the exquisite range.

Cajun Salmon & Shrimp in Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce – Bold, Buttery, and Absolutely Irresistible! 🐟🍀✨

πŸ“‹ Ingredients
For the Salmon & Shrimp:
● 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
● 10 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
● 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
● 1 tbsp olive oil
● Salt & pepper to taste
● Lemon wedges (for garnish)

For the Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce:
● 2 tbsp butter
● 2 garlic cloves, minced
● Β½ cup heavy cream
● ΒΌ cup chicken or seafood broth
● 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
● 1 tsp lemon juice
● 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives
● Cracked pepper & pinch of chili flakes (optional)

πŸ“ Instructions
1: Season & Sear: Pat the salmon and shrimp dry, then rub with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Sear salmon skin-side down in a hot skillet for 3–4 mins per side. Remove and set aside. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 mins per side until pink and charred.
2: Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sautΓ© for 30 secs. Stir in cream and broth, then whisk in mustard, lemon juice, and season with pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened, then stir in herbs.
3: Assemble & Serve: Spoon the hot, garlicky cream sauce over the salmon and shrimp. Garnish with lemon wedges, herbs, and a pinch of chili flakes if desired.
