Handler Log: Week 21

As May comes to a close, the peak of our spring travel season is nearing the finish line. With only one final trip left on the horizon for June, last week marked our last major high-volume push of the season—and our Handlers finished strong.

We deployed 17 buses across 7 unique trips last week to wrap up an incredible spring run:

Dahlonega & Helen: 7 buses for a massive mountain excursion.

Washington, D.C.: 3 buses managing multi-day history itineraries.

Savannah & Charleston: 3 buses handling coastal heritage tours.

Atlanta: 2 buses supporting senior class travel.

Pigeon Forge: 2 buses on the ground in the Smokies.

Our mission all season has been to handle the heavy lifting of logistics so educators could focus on their travelers. Thank you to every educator and leader who trusted us with their students this spring!

It was another high-impact week for Orange Sky Travel as we managed 16 total buses across 8 unique areas. Our Handlers remained focused on the heavy lifting of travel logistics, from coastal landmarks to a long-distance excursion to the Northeast.

Where we were last week:

Boston, MA: 1 group for a high school academic trip.

Chattanooga, TN: 3 buses for a 5th grade exploration.

Charlotte, NC: 4 buses supporting a middle school performing arts program.

The Coast (Charleston & Myrtle Beach): 3 buses for grade-level trips.

Regional Highlights: 5 buses across Columbia, Asheville, and Pigeon Forge.

Handling these varied itineraries allows our group leaders to focus on their students while we manage the road.

From the theme parks of Orlando to the historic streets of Old Salem, Orange Sky Travel was on the move last week. Our Handlers successfully managed 31 buses across 10 major destinations.

Handling the logistics for 18 different trips in one week requires a team that can adapt with grace. We are proud to serve our travelers and their leaders.

Handler Log: Week 16

Last week was a significant undertaking for our team, with 34 buses deployed across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Our Handlers managed a wide variety of itineraries, focusing on the heavy lifting of logistics so group leaders could focus on their travelers.

Where we were last week:

Mountain Expeditions: 18 total buses serving groups in Pigeon Forge, Helen, and Dahlonega. Activities ranged from middle school explorations to music performance festivals.
Metropolitan Tours: 11 total buses navigating the logistics of Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Charlotte for STEAM, AVID, and grade-level programs.
Coastal and Performance Hubs: 5 buses across Charleston, Orlando, and the Outer Banks for performing arts and history-focused trips.

Thirty-four buses safely on the road and back again. We are ready for Week 17.

It was a headline week for performing arts programs across the Southeast. Orange Sky Travel managed logistics for bands, choruses, and strings programs as they traveled for performances and competitions in major hubs.

So many amazing places were visited and so many unique experiences were had last week.
