The Jaguar Sanctuary in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica was so much more than I had expected! I never even knew I was in love with sloths until I came here. Such a great establishment with the best intentions! Baby Sloths in a basket just killed me! So close I could touch them! If you are ever in that area and want a break from the beach, this easily accessible sanctuary is a great way to spend a few hours!

Finally made it to Tikal! Another UNESCO World Heritage site visited. Very impressive site! I got to see wild monkeys, too! Amazing!

One year ago, today, the beginning of my ill-fested adventure throughout Thailand began. Good times! Ha.

Here is my most valuable advice I can give you regarding how to significantly decrease your chances of getting sick in Thailand …DO NOT TURN ON THE AIR CONDITIONER! The fabulous hot temperature reliever is really nice for the hot Thailand weather, but it really is a vacation killer in disguise.

Winter has come which means it is time to get my fix. This winter adventure will be shorter than usual, yet full! I get to check another UNESCO World Heritage Site off my list!

I have decided to travel to Guatemala, Belize, and Honduras. Although I have been to Belize before, I have not been to the other two! The two weeks I will be traveling will be full, adventurous, and with lots of relaxing beach time.

I have to say that this was not one of my most greatest ideas, but it sure was an exciting experience!

I almost died Tuesday. We all could have - my sister, two friends, and myself – but I had the near death experience for sure! Be careful what you drink friends! I love Indonesia, especially the Gili Islands, but this is sad and disappointing. This could have been me or friends I made while visiting there. Fortunately, I am a beer drinker. Thoughts to the families who have lost loved ones because of this!

I am in love with this picture. I didn't take this pic, (obviously...I'm on the left), but my best friend did! She titled it, "Mandi explaining to Jaimee (visiting from Australia) what 'Minnesota nice' really is". Mandi: now listen Jaimee...! Jaimee: ........!
This trip through the chilly Colorado rockies was unforgettable. So beautiful! Now I know why so many people want to visit.
