🔥 As some evacuation levels are lowered around Sisters, please note that much of the immediate area is still at 🚨Level 1 Evacuation Notice (Be Ready).🚨 While things are improving, we're not out of the woods yet.

🏔 We have asked you to consider postponing your visit, but our local businesses still need your help. This is typically the busiest time of the year for Sisters and many of our businesses sustain themselves year-round during these months. If you are still planning to visit, passing through, or at home, think about shopping in Sisters, grabbing a bite to eat, purchasing a gift card, or even buying online. Every little bit makes a difference!

❤️ Most importantly, come visit us soon! We'll make it through this event thanks to the hardworking crews protecting our community. Plan an extra trip this fall and into the winter. Love on us and you know we'll love on you. Sisters is a special place, so help us keep it that way however you best can.

đźš— Remember, we encourage you to plan ahead, stay informed, and enjoy your time here responsibly.

A challenge for everyone who loves Sisters.

First, if you’ve been evacuated, are preparing to evacuate, or are simply trying to get through this week, please take care of yourself and your family first. This isn’t meant for you.

But if you’re in a position to help, here’s one simple idea.

This is normally one of the busiest weeks of the year in Sisters. Instead, wildfire smoke, road closures, and uncertainty have changed what should have been one of the biggest weekends of the summer.

Some businesses have stayed open.

Some have chosen to close.

They’ve all been affected.

So here’s our challenge:

Support three local businesses today.

If you’re in Sisters and you’re up for getting out, stop into three locally owned businesses.

If a business is closed - or today just isn’t a day you want to be out and about - consider buying a gift card instead. It’s a simple way to support them now while giving yourself something to look forward to later.

If you’re not in Sisters, you can still help. Buy a gift card, order something online, book an experience for your next visit, or simply share a favorite Sisters business with someone who should know about it.

It doesn’t have to be us.

Choose three businesses that make this town what it is.

Every purchase helps a local family. Every customer helps a small business weather an unexpected week. Every decision to choose local is an investment in the community we’ll all return to when the smoke clears.

This week has shown what people are willing to do for one another.

Let’s carry that same spirit into our local businesses.

Choose three local businesses today.

If you do, tag them in the comments. Let’s fill this post with great local businesses people can support—this weekend, next week, and long after the smoke has cleared. ❤️
