Save a Tongass Trail Crew! 🌲💪 With the termination of many federal workers the past few weeks, Sitka lost all five of its dedicated cabin and trail crew members—hardworking public servants who keep our trails and cabins open for locals and visitors alike. Without them, trails will become overgrown, eroded, and inaccessible - making our subsistence way of life much more difficult and dangerous. Sitka Trail Works is stepping up to rehire them, but we need your help! Let’s support these workers, protect public lands, and ensure the Tongass National Forest remains a treasure for all. 💚✨
