Sitka Spruce

Sitka Spruce She's a WWII Crash boat. Skinned in Mahogany and decked in teak. Picked her up after she almost sank If all goes well, I plan on retiring on her. Wish me luck!

I bought her in Spring 2012 and she had almost sunk, twice, and I had never set foot on her deck! I plan to bring her back to life using materials from the period and source them locally if possible. Using traditional building methods, she will shine again one day! Spend the Summers in Alaska and the Winters down South. At 63' long and a gross of 57 ton and net 39 ton, she's a handful. Build by Fellows and Stewart Inc. in 1943 for the US Navy. Hull Depth is 7.8 feet. Hull Breadth is 14.9 feet. US Coast Guard number is 275242, Call sign WB4710
