That’s a wrap! Our fourth summer on the trails was another success 🎉 Thank you to new and old faces who chose to spend their time in Sitka with us! Whether it’s trekking through the rainforest or summiting the volcano, every adventure is a meaningful memory made. We are grateful for all the community support and collaboration to make these hikes as special as they are. Thanks to Sitka Trail Works for maintaining the most beautiful trails around, and Harbor Mountain Brewing Co. for collaborating on our Peaks and Pints tours!

After a few canceled departures due to weather, we were extra grateful to be able to run our first Sea Lion Cove adventure of the 2026 season! It was worth the wait, and the sun even made a special surprise appearance!☀️

This 1.5 mile loop takes us on a beautiful path along the water and forest fringe to Mosquito Cove, where the crystal clear water makes for quite the sight! One of those once in a lifetime moments, watching a sow and cubs play in the estuary on one of our Sea Lion Cove hikes last summer. As they wrestled and frolicked, we stood watching in awe, taking in a scene we knew would be hard to describe to others. At least the way it made us feel. We walk these trails holding so much respect for the wildlife around us. This is their land and we’re just passing through. Thanks to for collaborating on these trips, and thanks to for capturing this moment.

We’re starting our Sea Lion Cove trips next weekend, with our first departure already full! The next scheduled trips we have are May 22nd, May 30th, June 13th and June 27th. Reach out if you’d like to book your spot!
