Alaska-made products are now even easier to discover, shop and share.

The Made In Alaska program has partnered with Voyij Alaska to launch a dedicated online shopping page featuring products from active Made in Alaska permit holders. This new partnership gives shoppers a direct way to find authentic Alaska-made goods while supporting the small businesses, artists and manufacturers behind them.

With more than 3 million people visiting Alaska between May 2024 and April 2025, Alaska businesses are reaching a global audience. This partnership helps makers stay connected with customers long after they return home.

“Alaska is on a global stage, and our entrepreneurs are a major part of what makes this state so memorable,” said Commissioner Julie Sande. “When someone discovers an Alaska-made product on a trip, at a local market or through a storefront, we want it to be easy for them to find that business again.”

The Made in Alaska program now includes 857 businesses and 1,126 permitted products, continuing to grow as more businesses use the official logo to distinguish authentic Alaska-made products in a competitive marketplace.

Happy World Sea Otter Day from Alaska’s waters! 🦦🌊

Sea otters are one of Alaska’s most beloved marine animals, often spotted floating on their backs, cracking open shellfish, and wrapping themselves in kelp while resting in coastal waters.

Beyond being adorable, sea otters play an important role in Alaska’s marine ecosystems by helping keep kelp forests healthy and balanced.

If spotting wildlife is on your Alaska bucket list, keep your eyes on the water. You never know when a sea otter might pop up and completely steal the show. ✨
