If you’re looking for a cabin to stay at in or around the Red River Gorge area, look no further than the options we have…

Along The Ridge is designed for families and or small groups. There are FOUR “official” trails around the property - all lead up to and around a ridgeline that features caves, trees, boulders and… gnomes?!? There is also a fire pit area with some amazing boulders to hang out on. ATR also has plenty of things to do inside the cabin - an arcade machine, KIDS rock-climbing wall, candy machine, board games, DVDs and crafts! ATR is located off the Slade Exit and minutes from all the most popular spots!

Eagles Nest is located a few cabins away from ATR. This cabin is designed for couples who want to be minutes from all the main attractions and restaurants (approx 10 minutes or less from… Natural Bridge State Park, Nada Tunnel, Miguel’s Pizza, La Cabana, Thatcher Barbecue, Daniel Boone Coffee Shop, Putt-Putt Golf and MANY trails!), but also some peace and quiet. Eagles Nest features a king-sized bed in a loft area, a hot tub with an amazing view of a ridgeline, a private trail that leads up and thru the ridgeline where you’ll find a swing to relax on or wooden benches (two locations).

The third and arguably the most unique cabin option is Romance on The Rocks. This cabin literally sits on a cliffside and amongst HUGE rocks. Designed with couples in mind, Romance has a king-sized bed in a loft area that also features a bathroom, whirlpool bath tub and a balcony to overlook the hot tub that sits in a pocket of the cliff! There are plenty of areas to relax at this cabin and chances are you won’t see many, if any, people during your stay. Then again, you’ll want to venture out to get lunch and or dinner at Red Point Barbecue, which is only a few minutes down the road! As far as things to do… zip line, kayaking under ground and, of course, hiking trails are within 15 minutes of the cabin.

ALMOST FORGOT!!!

Our friends at La Cabaña Mexican Restaurant shared this photo with us when we messaged them about our encounter with Bigfoot at their restaurant (see previous post).

Apparently, if we had stayed a little bit longer we would have been reunited with the Grinch!

I say "reunited" because, as you may know, the Grinch visits ATR during the holiday season (the second photo is from last year).

At this time last week our former Owners were in town to hike and dine.

The trail they ventured out on (Whittleton Arch Trail) is located approximately 5 minutes from ATR. Then, they visited one of their favorite restaurants (La Cabaña Mexican Restaurant) and ran in to BIGFOOT!

Susan and her group were in the RRG during Peak Season of Fall and enjoyed the beauty all around them. They also met a little friend while adventuring around the property!

Practically everything was covered with leaves after just a couple days of vacancy at the cabin.
Translation = the leaves are falling fast 🍂🥲
This time next week there won’t be many colors left to see but each season offers a unique experience!

Come for the Halloween party, stay for the Halloween market! This Sunday from 10-6 join local artisans on the Miguel’s basketball court. Never too early to start your holiday shopping!

Even the "big kids" can find plenty of fun at the cabin!

The Arcade has 300 games programmed in to it, including Aladdin, Burgertime, Centipede, Fix-It Felix, Space Invaders, Star Wars, The Lion King, Tetris (pictured), Tron and, of course, MUCH MORE!!!
