High winds and dirty water right after a tropical storm makes for a tough day of fishing, but my clients from Kansas were up for the challenge! Undertaker Corks and Marker54 on oyster reefs got it done…. Threw back double what we kept too. Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one!

Haven’t been posting everyday because of the Facebook fishermen out there so here’s a photo dump from last week! Undertaker Corks with Marker54 on the same reefs I’ve been fishing for the past 5 or 6 years… Staying away from all the boats because stacking up on the same reefs scares the fish away…. June and July are completely booked but this bite should last through August so hit me up to get on the books. Best fishing trip of your life, until the next one! Shout out to Captain Scott VeZain for running a second boat for me on one of these trips!

Triple tail season has begun!!! Actually caught the first one in April this year, which is the earliest I’ve ever caught one…. So far this year my boat has caught 8 (Didn’t get a pic on one) and I’ve passed up at least another dozen (6 today alone) because they were too small… One of my favorite fish to chase and catch!

It was windy the last 3 days but we made it happen! And Lil D and his buddies on the boat for his 21st birthday Saturday...

It was windy the last 3 days but we made it happen! And Lil D and his buddies on the boat for his 21st birthday Saturday! And then had some regulars on the Monday and Tuesday. Red limit around Lake Catherine by 8am yesterday and the trout limit on the oyster reefs by 9:30 today! 😮‍💨 and ! Best fishing trip of my life, until the next one!

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday were 🔥 and now this weather! 😩 We’ll get back at it once Mother Nature calm...
