Before you know it, the REAL ID Act will go into effect. Beginning May 7, 2025, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the United States. We want to provide you with this resource for you and your customers’ needs.

What is a REAL ID?
REAL ID-compliant cards will have one of the below markings on the upper top portion of the card. If the card does not have one of these markings, it is not REAL ID compliant and will not be accepted as proof of identity to board commercial aircraft.

Where You’ll Need It

Certain federal facilities
Airports: Boarding federally regulated commercial aircraft, however, anyone flying at any point during their travels will need it.

The REAL ID Act was passed by Congress in 2005 and requires all states to adhere to certain security standards for IDs. May 7, 2025, is the deadline for everyone to be compliant with this new requirement.
To confirm if you have REAL ID, please check your ID. Look for a star in the upper right corner of your driver's license or ID. This indicates it's REAL ID compliant.


If you are not REAL ID compliant. Be sure to schedule an appointment with your local DMV to get the proper identification as DMVs may experience longer wait times as the deadline approaches.

As I'm sure most know at this point - packing an insulated cup is a top tip!

But here is a true tip/hack that most don't think of!

About a week before you travel to or on your cruise do the following:

1. Buy a few cheap (and thin) sponges
2.Cut them into 4-6 even pieces per sponge
3.Then wet the pieces and squeeze dish soap onto them
4. Lay them out to dry
5. Pack them in a ziplock bag
6. Use these to wash your insulated cups onboard

*You won't have to worry about dish soap leaking in your luggage
