Thank you to everyone who "likes" my BT RV Innovations page. I just reached 300 LIKES!!!! I haven't posted anything for awhile. Running New Horizons RV Corp. has become very demanding. I'm considering discontinuing the Sewer Hose business. I still have some inventory to use up so if you've been considering ordering a Pivot-EZ Sewer Hose Compartment it might be a good time place an order while I still have material in stock to build them. I have had a couple of requests for Pivot-EZ "Tube Extensions". This would be an extension that screws on to the threaded coupler and extends the 5" tube. (having another male threaded coupler for the cap to screw on to)

The benefit would be to store a longer hose, or a Rhino-FLEX hose and perhaps even a hose extension. I would probably offer these in 1' increments.

It looks as if a 24" extension would be in the $50 range. give or take. Before ordering in the necessary parts, I'm just seeing if there would be an interest.

Winter can't hang on much longer. If you're like me, you must be thinking about getting that 5th wheel out and making all those tweaks that you left for Spring when you put it away. ARE YOU DRINKING CONTAMINATED CAMPGROUND WATER?
I recently came across this article on the "Do It Yourself RV" newsletter and found it interesting and informative.

You wouldn’t take a sip out of your RV sewer hose, but connecting to some campground water supply lines could be just as disgusting and dangerous to your health.

Recent news headlines show that contaminated campground water is an ongoing problem around North America. Unfortunately you can’t smell it or taste one of the most frequent contaminants, E-coli bacteria. Campers lacking RV water filtration systems are playing Russian Roulette each time they connect to a water supply.

With travel season well underway, I thought it might be an opportune time for all of us to remember this overnight parking reminder.

WALMART OVERNIGHT PARKING ETIQUETTE
Some of the most respected RV consumer clubs have joined together to support your right to park on private businesses’ parking lots overnight under the following code of conduct. The code pertains to establishments that permit “dry camping” on their lots. Dry camping means camping without the use of external hookups for electricity, water supply or waste disposal.

Makes the RV Life a Little Easier (Jim T)
We have had our Pivot-EZ for four full seasons now and it makes a nasty job a little easier. The hose is always ready for use. Just take off the end cap and stretch it out to the dump. Since the hose stores in the PVC tube any nasty stuff that may be remaining stays outside the rv.
