That’s 9 chances to make a difference right here at home. Every dollar spent at a local business does more than land in a register. It pays a neighbor’s wages, supports a family’s mortgage, and funds the youth sports teams, fundraisers, and community events that make this a place worth living. Studies consistently show that local spending recirculates in the community at a much higher rate than money spent at big chains or online.
Here’s a simple challenge for the next nine Saturdays:
🛍️ Shop at a locally owned store
☕ Grab lunch or coffee from a local spot
🎁 Buy a gift card for someone on your list
✂️ Book a service from a local business owner
Small Business Saturday lands on November 28, but our local businesses need our support on all nine. Because when we shop local, our whole community has a happier holiday season.
