Agriculture helps shape Johnston County in more ways than most people realize, and so does the team working behind the scenes to support it.

In this clip, our board member Nicole Youngblood shares how the Johnston County Agricultural Center serves local farmers, families, youth, and communities through programs ranging from agriculture education and resources to 4-H and community outreach.

We're proud to have partners like Nicole and NC Cooperative Extension helping strengthen one of Johnston County's most important industries while creating opportunities for residents of all ages to learn, grow, and connect.

Some restaurants serve a meal, others create a whole mood🍸

With the sound of a live band warming up and that plate everyone at the table insists on trying, Crescendo is the kind of place where food and music share the spotlight.

We sampled corn ribs, house-brined pastrami, and a few signature cocktails (we're still thinking about that spicy cucumber tequila one). And between listening dinners, live music, and a menu inspired by the owners' roots, there's always something happening here.

🎶 JoCo Jams Staff Pick

We're keeping the summer soundtrack going with another selection from JoCo Jams, our playlist celebrating North Carolina artists, road trip favorites, and songs that remind us of summer in JoCo.

This week's pick comes from Ashby, our VP of Marketing & Communications.

Few songs feel more fitting for summer in North Carolina than "Burning in Carolina" by Delta Rae. With its Carolina roots and unmistakable sense of place, it's a song that brings to mind warm evenings, scenic drives, and summer memories made close to home.

What's a song that instantly makes you think of North Carolina?
