Smoketown Community!

This isn’t our typical aviation post, but today we’d like to use this platform for something close to our hearts.

We're raising funds for a former instructor and dear friend, Chris Sauder, and his family. Chris played a foundational role in our early days—one of the first to believe in us and someone who remained a pillar in our journey.

His family is currently fundraising to send his children to Joni and Friends—a life-changing experience where families impacted by disabilities find hope, encouragement, and Christ-centered community.

🎯 Our goal is to raise $3,300, and we’d love to help them reach it!
To help make this possible, we’ll be matching up to $1,000 in donations—$500 from Smoketown Helicopters and $500 from Smoketown Flight Center LLC.

We had a blast hosting a Pre-K field trip today! ✈️ The kiddos got to explore the airport, learn a little about aviation, and even spend some time with Mel, the founder of Smoketown Airport! 🚁 It was such a joy to see their eyes light up with curiosity and excitement. Future pilots in the making? We think so! 💫
